, the company, was founded in 1994 with a 30-year dedication to the research and promotion of plant-based skincare products. DR PLANT discovered that alpine plants, due to their large temperature differences, few pests, and no use of pesticides, combined with their high altitude location that ensures less pollution and higher purity, as well as long hours of sunshine that promote abundant active substances, are ideal ingredients for skincare. To better develop alpine plant-based skincare products, DR PLANT collaborated with the Kunming Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, to establish the Zhongke Kunzhi Plant Doctor Research and Development Center, where they work with dozens of scientists to explore the beauty of alpine plants. Meanwhile, adhering to the philosophy of 'Respecting Nature, Advocating Science, and Giving Back to Society,' DR PLANT is passionate about public welfare and launched the 'Biodiversity Alpine Plant Protection Initiative' in 2017. The 'UNDP-DR Plant Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Use Project' is the first and only project named by a Chinese brand under the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), restoring 5,590 acres of alpine ecological environment.
